Prince Harry is reportedly “more of an outsider than ever” when it comes to his relationships with the royals at the moment, it has been claimed. Speaking on The Royals Uncensored podcast this week, Vanity Fair royal editor Katie Nicholl revealed that she had been in contact with someone close to King Charles.
She shared on the podcast that the King did not meet Harry this week on his trip to the US because the monarch and his youngest son are not close at the moment. This is reportedly because Harry, who has lived in the US since 2020, is not going through official channels to talk to the monarch, which is making the King “nervous”.
Katie then said that Harry is an “outsider”, claiming that the monarch is not taking his youngest son’s calls.
She said on The Royals Uncensored podcast, which she co-hosts with Jo Elvin: “He’s more an outsider now than ever.
“His father will not meet with him at the moment, will not take his calls because, I’m told, he (Harry) is not going through the right channels.”
Earlier on Thursday’s episode, Katie said the King knows that whatever he says to Prince Harry could be leaked.
She said: “The relationship actually between the King and his youngest son is at an all-time low at the moment because Harry isn’t going through the official channels when he wants to reach out to Charles.”

She continued: “That official channel is by going through his (the King’s) private secretary.
“What Harry does is to go off-piste and try and contact his father directly, and that makes Charles nervous.”
The King left the US on April 30 and has flown to Bermuda, where he has two days of royal engagements to carry out.
Queen Camilla, who was in America with her husband this week, has flown back to the UK.
