Amid the “cheating” allegations, Maris Racal recently broke her silence on the issue linking her to Anthony Jennings. In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the actress admitted that she really did fall in love with the actor.

Netizens were wondering if Anthony was involved in her breakup with Rico Blanco. When she confirmed her breakup with Rico, the actress was emotional. She also claimed that Anthony was out of the picture in their separation.

However, during the interview, Maris Racal admitted that she was not telling the truth then. According to her, that is the reason why she was so emotional when she confirmed her breakup with Rico Blanco.

“The reason why I became so, so emotional during that interview is because I was holding back the truth,” the actress said.

According to Maris Racal, she was lonely and she got the attention she needed from Anthony Jennings. The actress claimed that there was a brewing attraction between her and the actor and she knew it’s wrong as she was still with Rico Blanco then.

“I was in a very dark place. I was lonely and I was getting attention from Anthony, the kind of attention that I needed. When I sensed that there was a brewing attraction between Anthony and I, nadala ako sa emotions ko. And I knew that was wrong,” Maris said.

Maris claimed that she came clear right away and told Rico everything. It led to their breakup and she claimed that she told Anthony about their breakup. According to her, the actor told her the same thing about him and Jamela.

“I came clear right away. I told my ex everything and I admitted things to him and then we broke up,” the actress said.

Maris Racal claimed that Anthony Jennings claimed that he’s single. According to her, it was only after Jam Villanueva made the controversial post when she was able to process things and find out that Anthony and Jam were still together when he was allegedly claiming that he’s single.
