In episode 9 of Carmina, Candy Pangilinan, Janice De Belen, and Gelli De Belen’s podcast “What’s in a name?”, Carmina shared a fun revelation about her husband Zoren’s name.

She said, “Cassandra, I followed her, Maria Cassandra, then Maverick Peter, Zoren because Peter Zoren, so I said I wanted to follow Zoren’s name and at least have an apostle Zoren, like that, like that.

“Okay so I made Maverick Peter, Maverick because I’ve always wanted Top Gun.”

But Carmina didn’t think that she thought her husband’s full name was wrong when she talked to her mother-in-law.

She said, “Less than ten years ago, I was talking to Momsy, my mother-in-law. I said, ‘Momsy, why did you name Zoren Peter Zoren?’”

“So she told me, she said, ‘Actually, Peter isn’t really Peter, I just want him to be Peter,’” she added. “True enough when Zoren renewed, all this time, Zoren thought he was Peter Zoren, so his license, his credit card, everything was Peter Zoren.”

“Zoren said, ‘Mom, I don’t have a Peter, all my life I thought I had a Peter.’ So Zoren didn’t have a Peter so Maverick was the only Peter left,” Carmina added.
