Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Finally Deliver the Moment Fans Have Wanted Since Day One

Taylor Swift stepped back into the spotlight on March 26 at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, marking her first major public appearance of 2026. Travis Kelce was there to support her, making it the first time he has attended an entertainment awards show with her.

Swift walked the red carpet on her own, while Kelce joined her inside the venue during the ceremony. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end made a surprise appearance during the show and was seen standing beside Swift with his arm placed on her back as host Ludacris praised her as the most-awarded artist in iHeartRadio Awards history. The couple was also spotted taking a photo together with Sombr.

Taylor Swift Walked the iHeartRadio Music Awards Red Carpet Alone

Swift arrived early and posed for photos in a mint green two-piece outfit, featuring a corset-style top with gold embellishments. She completed the look with strappy heels and kept her glam simple with a soft, natural makeup look.

Swift entered the night with multiple nominations, including Song of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, Favorite TikTok Dance, Best Lyrics and Best Music Video for “The Fate of Ophelia.” She was also nominated for Artist of the Year and Pop Artist of the Year.

Swift also received nominations tied to her Eras Tour, including Favorite On Screen for her Disney+ project and Favorite Tour Style.

Travis Kelce Attends Awards Show to Support Taylor Swift

Kelce did not appear on the red carpet but was present inside the venue during the show. His attendance marks a shift for the couple, as this is the first time he has accompanied Swift to an entertainment awards show.

Swift and Kelce arrived separately, with Swift entering early and Kelce joining later in the evening.

The appearance reflects a similar pattern seen at Kansas City Chiefs games, where Swift attends in support of Kelce while keeping a lower profile before the event begins.

Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Previously Walked Red Carpet at Tight End University

The couple previously walked a red carpet together for the first time at Tight End University in Nashville.

Kelce founded the annual training event in 2021 alongside George Kittle and Greg Olsen. The event focuses on helping tight ends “bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers while participating in a variety of activities including film study, on-field drills, recovery, rehabilitation, and more,” according to its website.

A video shared from the event showed Swift and Kelce walking hand-in-hand as they entered.

Fans reacted to the moment online. One comment read, “So, are we calling this their first ‘red carpet’ but casual?” Another added, “The red carpet moment that the world has waited on for two years happened at TEU?”
