Kris Aquino Undergoes Six-Month Preventive Isolation in Tarlac, Asks for Prayer: “There May Be No Tomorrow for Me”

Kris Aquino’s fierce battle against her autoimmune diseases continues. In her latest Instagram update on Monday, August 11, 2025 , the “Queen of All Media” revealed her decision to move to Tarlac to undergo preventive isolation for six months .

Kris said she will be leaving the private beach property that has been her temporary home for almost two months to ensure her safety while she takes powerful medications to control her life-threatening autoimmune conditions.

“There may be no tomorrow for me” — Kris Aquino’s Brave Confession

In her post, Kris got emotional as she admitted her fear at night. She said:

“Trust me it’s difficult to accept every night when I sleep that there may be no tomorrow for me.”

According to him, he hasn’t updated on social media for a long time because he didn’t know how to reveal serious developments in his health.

“On purpose matagal akong hindi nag-upload. I have to admit if I told you what was happening, some of you may stop praying because my autoimmune diseases were increasing in number…”

Moving to Tarlac for 6 Months of Isolation

After a few weeks of staying in a beach house owned by a “kind and generous family,” Kris decided to move to Alto , as they call their Cojuangco family compound in Tarlac . Here, she will live while receiving powerful medications including immunosuppressants that are intended to “wipe out” her immunity.

“I came to a decision… I have another 6-8 hour infusion session in 6 days, it’s one of the strongest autoimmune immunosuppressants… I will be in preventive isolation for 6 months.”

The purpose of isolation is to protect Kris from any infection due to his body’s lack of natural defenses.

Family Sacrifice: Kuya Josh and Bimby

Many are asking where Kuya Josh , Kris’ eldest son, is. According to him, he has been deeply affected by the series of deaths of his loved ones—Lola Cory, Lola P, and Tito Noy. Now, he seems traumatized by Kris’s situation.

“Kuya is traumatized, visibly shaking, repeating ‘Mama get well, I love you…’”

Because of this, he is temporarily living with a relative for his emotional well-being.

Meanwhile, the sacrifice of Bimby , Kris’ youngest son, who is now 18 years old , is invaluable . He is a great support in the midst of his fight.

“Bimb has sacrificed much to take care of me. He is heaven’s gift, my optimistic adult who reminds me I should ‘never surrender.’”

Thanksgiving and Call to Prayer

At the end of his message, Kris asked for continued prayers from the public. He admitted that he was going through a very difficult time in his life—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

“After a few more scheduled tests & treatments, and my recuperation—Bimb and I are ready to reveal all and show you everything for the first time. PLEASE CONTINUE PRAYING, kailangan na kailangan ko.”

He also thanked the hospitals that are assisting in his treatment— Makati Medical Center and St. Luke’s BGC , as well as all the doctors, nurses, and medical staff who continue to care for him.

“Thank you to both Makati Med and St Luke’s BGC, my doctors, their fellows & residents, the nurses assigned to me in the hospitals, my personal nurses, the many skilled technicians operating the high-tech machinery, and all who continue to believe gagaling pa rin ako.”

Kris Aquino’s Fight Continues

Since then, Kris Aquino’s health journey has not been easy. For over three years , she has been battling various autoimmune diseases such as Churg-Strauss Syndrome (now known as EGPA ) and Lupus-like symptoms . These conditions are rare, complex, and require powerful medications with serious side effects.

But despite everything, Kris remains strong—not only for herself but especially for her two children.
