ROYAL UPDATE: Princess Kate STAYS BEHIND to Oversee Family’s Move to Forest Lodge as Prince William Heads to Brazil — “She’s Got Everything Under Control!”

Princess Kate is set to stay in the UK to oversee the family’s move to Forest Lodge as Prince William journeys to Brazil for a key public appearance.

The Prince of Wales will travel solo to Rio de Janeiro for his Earthshot Prize awards ceremony in a week’s time.

The Princess of Wales will stay in Britain to help prepare the move from Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to the nearby Forest Lodge in the coming weeks.

It will be a stark upgrade for William, Kate and the three children, upgrading from the four-bedroom abode to the eight-bedroom home on the Windsor Great Park estate.

The couple reportedly sees Forest Lodge as their long-term home, planning to stay even when William accedes to the throne.

The Wales family also has a country home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk,

Over in Rio de Janeiro, William, alongside a prize council, will announce five winners for the Earthshot Prize, which awards innovative projects £1million each to combat critical environmental issues.

The Earthshot Prize “searches the world for environmental solutions that show the greatest potential”.

Following the event, the prince will head to the UN climate conference in Belem, Brazil, on November 6.

Kate previously attended the first two awards ceremonies for the Earthshot Prize, joining her husband for the event in London in 2021 and Boston in 2022.

She did not join William in 2023, as she stayed home to support Prince George, who had exams that week.

Kate also missed last year’s ceremony in South Africa, spending most of the year out of the public eye amid her cancer diagnosis and treatment.

She announced in January of this year that she is now in remission, with William admitting 2024 “was the hardest year I’ve ever had”.

The prince said: “Worry or stress around the family side of things does overwhelm me quite a bit because it’s more personal.

“It’s more about feeling, it’s more about upsetting the rhythm.”

The couple moved to Adelaide Cottage in August 2022 and are set to move out of the property next month.

Sarah Ferguson has set her sights on occupying the residency, as she and Prince Andrew prepare to move out of Royal Lodge, having lived together since 2008.

An insider told The Sun: “Incredibly, Sarah has said she wants Adelaide Cottage.

“Frogmore Cottage is too small for both, and Adelaide Cottage is around the corner, so they will see each other whenever they want. Both have space for their daughters, Eugenie and Beatrice and their families to visit”

SHE STARTED SINGING IN A COAL MINER’S KITCHEN AT 15. — 60 YEARS LATER, AT 87, SHE GRABBED THE MIC ONE LAST TIME AND SILENCED 14,000 PEOPLE. No backup dancers. No light show. Just a woman in a wheelchair, watching Nashville’s biggest stars sing her songs back to her. Then someone handed Loretta Lynn a microphone. Nobody expected it. She hadn’t performed since her stroke two years earlier. Doctors weren’t sure she’d ever sing again. But when the first notes of “Coal Miner’s Daughter” filled the Bridgestone Arena — Loretta opened her mouth. And every voice in that building went quiet. She didn’t hit every note. She didn’t need to. Sixty years of heartbreak, honky-tonks, and highway dust lived inside every word. When she finished, 14,000 people stood. Some cried. Some just stared. Some voices don’t fade. They just choose their moment — and Loretta Lynn chose hers one last time.

ALAN JACKSON HAS WON EVERY AWARD IN COUNTRY MUSIC. BUT LAST NIGHT, HIS DAUGHTER GAVE HIM THE ONE TROPHY HE NEVER HAD. At a sold-out stadium, the country legend didn’t take the final spotlight. Alan Jackson stepped back into the shadows and watched his daughter, Mattie Denise Jackson, walk to center stage. 50 years of hits. Countless awards. Every stage conquered. But watching his own blood command the roar of thousands — that was the one moment his legacy was still missing. The resemblance wasn’t just in the eyes. It was in the soul. As they leaned into a raw, acoustic-driven performance, the crowd forgot they were watching a legend. They were watching a father realize his greatest legacy wasn’t written in trophies — it was standing right in front of him. Then came the moment no one expected. Alan removed something meaningful from his own set and placed it into Mattie’s hands. What he did next left the entire stadium in absolute silence — and what Mattie Denise Jackson whispered back to her father might be the most powerful thing you’ll hear all week.
