“When the song started to blow up, I told her, ‘People are gonna talk,’” he shared. “‘We don’t need to play into it—or dodge it. Let’s just enjoy it the way we enjoy singing it.’”
And enjoy it they do. Riley lights up when talking about their performances together. “It’s a special moment we get to share on stage every night,” he said.
Still, not everyone is convinced. Fans flooded TikTok with comments after Riley’s interview clip surfaced. One teased, “EXCUUUUSE ME, you look like you love her.” Another added, “He was blushingggg.” Thousands of likes rolled in, fueling even more speculation.
After touring with Riley in 2024, Ella is once again set to open for his 2025 Damn Country Music tour—meaning plenty more “just friends” moments are on the horizon.
