As the much-awaited Miss Universe 2024 coronation night draws to a close, Chelsea Manalo proves why she is deserving of the crown.
On November 3, Chelsea shared a series of photos of herself on Instagram as she celebrated having 300,000 followers on the popular online platform.
“Feeling the love and support from every one of you,” she wrote. “Cheers to 300k and the road to a million!💫”
The 26-year-old beauty queen also teased her upcoming “pasabog” shoot for her followers and fellow pageant fans, encouraging them to vote for the Philippines in the Miss Universe 2024 polls.
Meanwhile, the Miss Universe Philippines organization also urged everyone to unite and vote for the beauty queen in the 73rd Miss Universe. As of writing, the Philippine delegate is currently at the 12th spot.
Everyone can vote for Chelsea through the Miss Universe app until November 16. Users can also personalize their Top 10 candidate list in the app and share it through their social media pages to rally support for their favorites.
The organization also released the Philippine delegate’s packed schedule leading up to the coronation night. A series of rehearsals, interviews, and the unveiling of the highly-coveted crown will take place starting November 8 until November 13.
Additionally, the preliminary competition and national costume show will take place on November 14.
Lastly, the final competition will be on November 17 (Philippine time) at the Mexico City Arena.
Chelsea Manalo is the first Filipino of African descent to be crowned Miss Universe Philippines and has been a strong advocate for indigenous communities and youth empowerment.
