On a recent episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the spotlight wasn’t on the Grammy-winning host — it was on her 8-year-old son, Remington.

Kelly explained that her kids happened to have the day off from school, so they tagged along to watch the taping. Before the cameras rolled, Remy surprised everyone by grabbing the mic and treating the audience to his own version of Frank Sinatra’s legendary hit, “My Way.”

The clip, just a few seconds long, quickly took off online, racking up more than 1.5 million views. Fans couldn’t get enough of his charm and confidence.

A few weeks later, during her January 8th show, Kelly invited both Remy and his sister River to join her on the couch. She asked Remy why he picked “My Way,” and his answer melted hearts: he got inspired by the movie Sing. In the animated film, a character named Mike (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) performs the same classic.

Kelly admitted that Remy sings “My Way” around the house all the time, a claim that River quickly confirmed:
“I can’t even count how many times,” she laughed.

What really had everyone giggling, though, was when Remy asked his mom, “Does my video have more views than yours?” Kelly couldn’t stop laughing at his cheeky confidence.

By popular demand, the show later posted the full video of Remy’s performance. From start to finish, he sang his heart out, hitting notes that even left Kelly in awe. At the end, she rushed over to hug him, her pride written all over her face.

It wasn’t just a proud mom moment — it was a reminder that talent runs deep in the Clarkson family.
