Karl Eldrew Yulo, the younger brother of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, was full of gratitude and pride as he shared the most important things he gained from his achievements in the field of gymnastics.

In a recent episode of Julius Babao’s vlog titled “Julius Babao UNPLUGGED” on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Karl shared personal experiences and challenges he faced as a young athlete. In this episode, Karl shares the stories of his life and the trials he tried to overcome in his efforts to be recognized in the world of gymnastics.

As Babao asked Karl about the most important thing he got from his successes, Karl’s answer became clear that the most important thing of all was the support of his family. According to Karl, family is his main wealth and strength, something that cannot be matched by any material thing.

“My family means a lot to me. Because they are there even in the highs, I’m in the lows. They support me emotionally, financially, whatever,”  Karl said, with a smile and affection in his words.

Karl mentioned that his family not only provides support in times of success, but also in times when he faces trials and defeats. According to him, the family gives him the strength to continue and persevere, no matter what happens.

“They support me, they want what’s best for me,”  Karl added.

It was important to Karl that his family asked nothing in return for their sacrifices and wanted nothing but his happiness and success.

Karl also shared that every decision he makes has to do with his family’s wishes for him to achieve true success in life, not only in the field of gymnastics, but also in his personal life.

Despite the successes Karl achieved in his career as a gymnast, his message became clear that the most important thing is still the relationship and the connection with family. Material things, according to him, cannot match the value of the tireless love and support that family provides.

Karl shows in his story the importance of having a strong support system from loved ones, which acts as a guide in every step taken. His hard work and success is not only the result of his own ability, but also the tireless care and love of his family.
