Veteran noontime show co-host Joey De Leon admitted that he felt resentful towards Toni Gonzaga after she left Eat Bulaga and moved to another network.
Toni Gonzaga first became a Kapuso and was a co-host of Eat Bulaga before she decided to move to ABS-CBN.
However, he was only happy to see her rise to fame and the improvement of her showbiz career after the network transfer.
Joey admitted all this during the press conference of their MMFF 2022 entry My Teacher, directed by Toni Gonzaga’s husband, Director Paul Soriano.
Meanwhile, Toni is reportedly aware that her former Eat Bulaga co-host Joey felt resentful. However, she is still happy and grateful because their communication and friendship are still ongoing.
