MANILA, Philippines — “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino gave an update on her health condition as she enters preventive isolation in her family’s Tarlac compound.
Last week Kris revealed her decision to undergo a six-month isolation perioid after staying on a private beach property, this after sharing last month that she was “wheelchair-bound.”
In her latest update posted on Instagram, Kris said she’d completed her second hours-long infusion of Rituximab, which targets B-cells to help treat some of her many autoimmune diseases.
Upon the recommendation of doctor Geraldine Zamora after seeing something alarming in Kris’ blood panel results, Kris had an ultrasound check, did more tests, and met up with three different health specialists.
Kris also said said that her eldest son Josh visited last Sunday, August 16, while her other son Bimby hasn’t been sleeping well lately.
“I chose to literally trust Filipino doctors with my life rather than take medicine that i am unsure of especially because I just finished a big dose of a strong immunosuppressant and I am continuing with two immunosuppressants and so much more supplements, antihistamines, and important vitamins,” Kris said.
The host-actress asked prayers for her doctors, nurses, technicians, and those working in the operating room.
“Please don’t give up on praying because I draw strength from your generosity,” Kris ended with hashtags for “please don’t give up” and “the fight continues.”
