Gerald Anderson expressed his deepest condolences to the family of his ex-girlfriend Julia Barretto.

Actress Mito Barretto’s uncle, 66, passed away last September 23, 2025.

Mito is the older brother of Julia’s mother, Marjorie.

Last September 24, photos of Gerald’s visit to Mito’s wake circulated on social media.

Those present at the wake noticed that Gerald and Julia were not strangers to each other despite the rumored breakup.

This was first reported by PEP Troika on September 25.

It is said that it would be wrong to assume that they are not separated because of the ex-couple’s actions.

Until some videos and photos of Gerald taken at Julia’s uncle’s funeral surfaced.

In the video uploaded by Gisio Ching See, Gerald can be seen arriving at Mito’s wake at Heritage Memorial Park, Taguig City, on September 24.

He was carrying a container of snacks.

The actor also took a selfie with a certain Mark Garcia, who shared the photo on his Instagram Stories on September 25.

It can also be recalled that when Marjorie shared her sister’s passing on Instagram, Gerald immediately commented with three broken hearts.

Gerald also reacted to a separate post by Leon Barretto, Julia’s younger brother.

It was already clear that Gerald was extending his condolences to the Barretto family.
