MANILA, Philippines — Actor Gerald Anderson admits his fault in his breakup with ex-partner and fellow actor Julia Barretto, while also clearing a volleyball player from allegations of being a third party.

Showbiz reporter and talent manager Ogie Diaz shared about this development on his YouTube series. Ogie has been following the issue between Gerald and Julia in the past few months.

In the series’ latest video uploaded yesterday, September 22, Ogie said that Gerald called him to clarify things about his split with Julia.

Quoting Gerald, Ogie relayed that professional volleyball player Vanie Gandler was not involved in the breakup. He noted how the issue has been circulating for while, but Gerald denied personally knowing or contacting the athlete.

He is just an avid fan of volleyball.

“Sinabi pa ni Gerald na iba ang dahilan at inako rin niya na siya ang may kasalanan sa breakup nila in Julia,” Ogie shared.

Gerald did not explain further in his call, only that he wanted to clear Vanie’s name after being hurt by the comments being hurled at him and the volleyball player.

Ogie added that it may help if Vanie would share her side, but in his opinion, the athlete does not seem bothered by the issue at all.
