TOTOY’S COMPLAINT: “I WAS IMPOSED AND INJURED”

It all started when Bonefacio Totoy Bosa surfaced with serious allegations against his former employers. According to his statement submitted to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), he experienced hell at the hands of three famous personalities.

According to Totoy, the incident occurred between January 17 to January 19 at Rhian Ramos’ condo unit in Makati City.

He recounted that during those three days, he was not released or what the law calls “illegal detention.” He allegedly suffered not only imprisonment, but also “torture” and beatings. These are serious allegations that, if proven, could result in long years in prison.

The question many are asking is: Why? What is the reason for three women known for being decent and educated to do this?

The root of it all is a missing “ampaw” or envelope. According to Totoy, he was accused of stealing the said ampaw. But it wasn’t money that made the accused angry. The contents of the ampaw were “sensitive pictures.”

This is where the speculations started to grow. What kind of pictures were there? How sensitive was it to lead to this kind of trouble? To this day, the contents of the envelope remain a mystery, but it was the spark that ignited the alleged cruelty against Totoy.

THE “TULFO” ANGLE: TRUE OR FAKE?

As the news broke, rumors spread on social media that Totoy had already appeared on Senator Raffy Tulfo’s program. “Pinotulfo na!” shouted netizens thirsting for justice and drama.

Many are waiting to see when the episode will air. However, at present, it is important to clarify that  there is no official segment  released by  Raffy Tulfo in Action  regarding this. Although there is a lot of talk that the driver’s camp has indeed approached the said program, it remains a rumor until it airs in the mainstream media.

For now, the fight is in the legal arena—with the NBI and the lawyers of both sides.

RHIAN AND MICHELLE’S CAMP’S ANSWER: “THAT’S IMPOSSIBLE!”

The accused’s side did not give up. Rhian Ramos and Michelle Dee’s legal counsel, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduke, immediately responded. They vehemently denied all of Totoy’s allegations.

For the camp of beauty queens and actresses, Totoy’s story is a fabrication and far from the truth. Here are their main defenses:

1. Michelle Dee’s Alibi  This is the defense’s strongest ace. According to Atty. Garduke, it was “physically impossible” for Michelle Dee to have hurt Totoy in Makati at that time. Why? Because she was not in Manila.

The camp released evidence, including  travel records  and  plane tickets , proving that Michelle Dee was in Iloilo on the day Totoy claims she was being assaulted. If the beauty queen was in Iloilo, how could she have beaten the driver who was in Makati? This is the hole in Totoy’s story that the defense is trying to cover up.

2. No Evidence of Injury  According to the lawyer, if the alleged torture and beatings are true, where are the bruises? Where is the medical certificate? Rhian’s camp insisted that there was no trace of physical injury on Totoy’s body that would prove his stories of violence.

3. The Blackmail Angle  Due to the lack of solid evidence and the seemingly ever-changing story, the theory has surfaced from the camp of the accused that this may be a case of “blackmail.” Is it possible that Totoy is simply using the issue and the threat of scandal to get money or  leverage  against his former employers? This is now one of the angles that investigators are looking at.

THE NBI INVESTIGATION: WHERE IS THE TRUTH?

Due to the gravity of the allegations, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has entered the scene. They are not just believing hearsay. They are now conducting a thorough  validation  of the evidence.

What are they looking at?

• CCTV Footage:  They are reviewing the camera footage from Rhian Ramos’ condominium. Does it show that Totoy was locked up? Or does it show that he was able to come and go freely?

• Flight Details: Verifying whether  the tickets proving Michelle Dee is in Iloilo are  real and  authentic .

• Medico-Legal Examination:  This will determine whether the victim was actually harmed. If no wounds or bruises are found that match the story of torture, Totoy will have a hard time proving his case.

In the latest update from the NBI, they said that  no concrete evidence has been obtained  to prove that Rhian, Michelle, and Samantha violated the law. They are still in the process of gathering data before deciding whether to file charges against the artists or dismiss the complaint.

THE REACTION OF THE PUBLIC AND FAMILY

As expected, public opinion is divided. On social media, some side with Totoy because of the concept of “the poor against the rich.” They feel sorry for the driver’s plight, even if it is true.

On the other hand, many also believe Rhian and Michelle, especially since they are known to have good reputations. Rhian Ramos’ mother also expressed her opinion, directly contradicting the support given by some groups to the driver, which she considers to be condoning a lie.
