Christopher de Leon admits ex-wife and Superstar Nora Aunor still “excites” him

King of Drama Christopher de Leon is still full of admiration for his ex-wife and showbiz tandem, Superstar Nora Aunor.
Last night, September 22, at SM The Block Cinema 2, after the red-carpet premiere of TV5’s first mini-series, Sa Ngalan Ng Ina , starring the two of them, Boyet still expressed her love for Ate Guy.
“I’m very proud to be in this project. And I’m so happy to be working again with director Mario O’ Hara.
“And, of course, director Jon Red and the one and only Superstar. Magaling pa rin.
“After eight years [of her break from showbiz], she’s still the one… number one,” said Christopher, referring to Ate Guy.
The actor also enjoyed watching the pilot episode of their mini-series.
“The product I saw was good and there’s more to come,” he said.
Christopher plays the role of Pepe Ilustre in Sa Ngalan Ng Ina . He is married to Rosanna Roces as Lucia Ilustre and has a past with Nora as Elena Deogracias.
Also joining the cast are Ian de Leon, Nadine Samonte, Alwyn Uytingco, Edgar Allan Guzman, Eula Caballero, Karel Marquez, Joross Gamboa, Jay Aquitania, and Eugene Domingo and Bembol Roco have special participation.
Sa Ngalan Ng Ina can be seen starting October 3 after Wil Time Bigtime on TV5.
BRINGS BACK MEMORIES. Because the characters of Christopher and Nora in the mini-series have a past, the two also admitted that they can relate to it because they also have a past in real life, which even resulted in a child—Ian de Leon.
When Ate Guy was asked by the press if any memories came back now that they were working together on this series, he said: “You know, if two people do something together and this is the result [Ian], then for me you can’t get rid of it.
“Of course, the feeling is that first and foremost, Papa Boyet is a great actor.
“That’s my idol, eh. When we do scenes, I get nervous.
