Prince Harry features in King Charles’s new documentary in big surprise to royal fans
‘Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision’ will be released on Prime Video on February 6.
A clip of King Charles with his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, features in the King’s upcoming Amazon Prime documentary about the environment. The film, titled Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision, will air on February 6.
Described as “a deeply personal landmark documentary that explores His Majesty’s lifelong vision for a more balanced and sustainable world”, the 90-minute film reflects on the monarch’s lifelong dedication to finding environmental solutions and using his platform to make a difference.
The film features a treasure trove of rare archive footage from the past 75 years, including clips of his key environmental speeches, and films from his and his children’s childhoods.
One short clip shows King Charles, dressed in a kilt, fishing with a nine-year-old Prince Harry in Scotland, with his elder son and heir, William, featuring more prominently.
The film, created by Passion Planet, was filmed across four continents over seven months last year. The producers hope the film, which will be available in 240 countries around the world, provides hope when we need it the most.
Later this evening, the King will host A-Listers and TV stars at Windsor Castle for the premiere of the 90-minute documentary.
Stanley Tucci, Benedict Cumberbatch, Dame Judi Dench and Alan Titchmarsh will be some of the names who will join the King and Queen Camilla to celebrate the upcoming release of the film.
Discussing his environmental philosophy, the King will tell his audience: “We are part of nature, not apart from it. Maybe, by the time I shuffle off this mortal coil, there might be a little more awareness… of the need to bring things back together again.”
Although the King’s youngest son, Prince Harry, is estranged from the Royal Family, the King decided to feature Harry in the film.
In 2024, the Duke of Sussex dashed back to London for a meeting with the King following the King’s shock cancer diagnosis.
Harry and the King did not reunite this month when Harry was at the Royal Courts of Justice for his court battle against the publishers of the Daily Mail, Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL), despite the King returning from Scotland to London to continue engagements.
