“Janice’s” mother and the parents of the Maguad siblings, Cruz and Lovella Maguad, met on December 30, 2021 at a cemetery in Mlang, Cotabato where the victims were buried.
According to ‘Newsline Philippines’, they brought Janice’s mother and half-sister Juliet to the Maguad couple so they could talk properly about Janice’s alleged murder of the siblings.
During their meeting, Michelle, mother of Janice, a minor who confessed to the murders of Crizzle Gwynn and Crizvlle Louis, knelt before the Maguad couple.
Despite Janice’s alleged confession to the crime, Cruz believes that someone was behind the crime because according to the autopsy, there was “anger” in the killing of the siblings.

Michelle knelt down while Juliet hugged Lovella Maguad and asked for forgiveness.
The Maguad couple told Michelle that she didn’t have to kneel.
“I am so sorry Mam and Sir, I know how it feels mam, I know that. Every time I see their photos, I cannot hold my tears, that’s the truth, I feel how you feel,” ani Michelle (sa Bisaya).
According to Lovella, only Michelle can ask Janice what the truth is.
“If only I can make you feel how painful it is. But, I don’t have the courage to do that, all I want, What I am asking—you are the only person who can ask her to tell the truth,” aniya (sa Bisaya).

“You know I don’t know until when I can bear this. Our lives have stopped, we are motionless, it is tiresome to stand, they are our world,” dagdag pa niya.
“There is nothing we can give to our children, they are gone. Please help us,” sinabi si Cruz kay Michelle.
According to Michelle, they will help the couple get justice for their child and find out who is allegedly behind this.
“It is so painful, I feel relieved, we need to know who is behind this. Thank you for facing me, I can promise you, I will help to get justice, who is behind this,” ani Michelle (sa bisaya).
Meanwhile, according to ‘Newsline Philippines’ they brought Michelle and Juliet to DSWD Mlang.
Michelle asked the DSWD for permission to talk to Janice but was not allowed to talk to her daughter.
