Laut Stadtsprecher passierte der Vorfall nach Angaben von Anwohnern gegen 4 Uhr morgens. Eine Gruppe soll den beiden zutraulichen Eseln, die normalerweise an den Zaun kommen, wenn Menschen in der Nähe sind, ins Gesicht geschlagen haben.
