CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Prince George’s Tender Moments With Mum Catherine At the Royal Albert Hall Moved Royals Fans Into Tears

Prince George, 12, joins mom Kate Middleton for his first Festival of Remembrance

Kate Middleton and her eldest son, Prince George, made a joint appearance at the Festival of Remembrance in London.

The Princess of Wales was pictured at the Royal British Legion’s annual event wearing a black frock with a white, lace-trimmed collar. A red flower over her heart adorned the dress’s collar.

She wore her brunette hair in long, voluminous curls and smiled alongside Prince George while greeting other people at the event.

Prince George, 12, made his Festival of Remembrance debut in a black suit and coordinating tie, shaking hands with people as his proud mother looked on.

Prince William, who recently returned from a sojourn to Brazil, was seemingly not in attendance.

Prince George was previously spotted on a father-son outing in April with Prince William at a soccer game in Paris. The pair were photographed cheering from the stands as England’s Aston Villa faced off against the Paris Saint-Germain team.

On May 5, the young prince made his debut at a Buckingham Palace tea party for World War II veterans hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla.

Prince George — who turned 12 in July — is second in line to the British throne, after Prince William, 43.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were said to have kept their son in the dark regarding his future as he grew up.

“[George] really has had a period of a normal childhood,” Royal biographer Robert Lacey divulged to People in an August interview.

The author claimed that Prince William “delayed” telling George that he was destined to one day be king “until the last possible moment.”

“It shows special care and thoughtfulness,” Lacey explained of the parenting tactic. “It also tells us something about how William felt about the weight of the crown.”

Prince George is the eldest of William and Kate’s three children — they also share daughter Princess Charlotte, 10, and son Prince Louis, 7.

HE WROTE IT AFTER LOSING HIS BROTHER. 30 YEARS LATER, HIS DAUGHTER SANG IT — AND VINCE GILL COULDN’T MOVE. The Ryman Auditorium went dead quiet. Not the polite kind — the kind where 2,000 people forget to breathe. Jenny Gill walked out alone. No band. No intro. Just her voice and the song her father wrote through grief he never fully let go of. Vince Gill sat in the third row. Hands in his lap. Jaw tight. He wasn’t a performer tonight. Just a dad. He wrote “Go Rest High on That Mountain” after Keith Whitley died. Finished it after losing his own brother. Two losses. One melody. But what Jenny did with it — and that one quiet moment right before the last chorus — nobody in that room saw it coming. 😢 Twenty Grammys. Thirty years of touring. None of it ever sounded like what his daughter gave back to him that night..

CHET ATKINS DIDN’T SING A SINGLE WORD — YET 14 MILLION FANS FELT EVERY NOTE IN THEIR SOUL. He sat down quietly. No introduction. No grand entrance. Just a man, a guitar, and a melody called “Dark Eyes.” The first notes arrived gently — each one placed with the kind of precision only decades of mastery can teach. His fingers moved with calm assurance, never rushing, never forcing. Bass and melody walked side by side like old friends who didn’t need to speak. “Dark Eyes” had lived in folk tradition for generations. But in Chet’s hands, it became something else entirely. The rhythm breathed. The phrasing lingered. Every pause felt like it meant something. He never looked up for applause. He never needed to. The guitar said everything his voice never did. And when the last note faded into silence, something strange happened — the feeling stayed. Not because of what was played, but because of the space between the notes, where Chet Atkins left pieces of his soul. They called him “Mr. Guitar” for a reason. But what he did with “Dark Eyes” might be the purest proof of why that name belonged to no one else…

FOR A DECADE, GEORGE STRAIT HID A SONG NO ONE WAS ALLOWED TO HEAR — THEN CHUCK NORRIS DIED AT 86, AND EVERYTHING CHANGED When America learned Chuck Norris was gone, something shifted. Not just in Hollywood. Not just in martial arts circles. But deep in the heart of Texas, where both men built their legends on dust, discipline, and handshakes that meant something. George Strait had been carrying a song for ten years. A quiet tribute to brotherhood — the kind born between veterans, between cowboys, between two men who never needed words to understand each other. He never recorded it. Never performed it once. Then March 19 came, and suddenly that hidden song carried a weight no one expected.
