On Sunday, Dolly Parton, 79, announced that she will not be performing her scheduled concerts at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas this December. The shows, originally planned for December 4 through December 13, 2025, have been rescheduled to September 2026.

“I want the fans to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts,” Parton wrote in a public statement.

The legendary singer explained that she has been experiencing health challenges and was advised by her doctors to undergo “a few procedures.” With her signature sense of humor, Dolly joked that it was time for her “100,000 mile check-up,” clarifying that this wasn’t her “usual trip to see [her] plastic surgeon.”

In the clip, Dolly revealed that she had been dealing with a kidney stone that caused an infection, preventing her from traveling. “The doctor said, ‘You don’t need to be traveling right this minute, so you need a few days to get better,’” she explained.
