In the segment of “Laro Laro Pick,” Vice was messing around with a contestant when he suddenly yelled about someone who claimed to be an idol or pretended to be close to him but said something different when he wasn’t in front of him.
Vice approached the camera and then said: “You’re just using me. You’re going to make me pretend to be your idol, you’re going to be so happy for me, but you’re just going to congratulate me.”
“You pretend to be my idol, but you bash me when I have scenes on Facebook.”
The contestant interjected again and said that she “loves” Vice Ganda.
“Oh, right? You’re just fooling me. You’re all echos here! We’re supposed to be close, but you guys have posts about me!”

Vice’s request to X became a focus of speculation.
The video clip posted by a netizen with the caption “OMG HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA OOPSSS” and a hand-over-mouth emoji has reached more than five million views.
Sabi pa ng netizen, “LOVE YOU SO MUCH! but why do you keep getting into those situations hahahahuhu.”
Some people reposted this saying that they seemed to know what Vice Ganda was trying to say.
According to some netizens, Vice Ganda is right about his former PBB Celebrity Collab housemate Shuvee Etrata.

Why are some netizens linking Vice Ganda’s insult to Shuvee?
Shuvee’s unearthed old posts containing his views on political issues went viral on X and Facebook.
This includes Shuvee’s Facebook post on May 6, 2020, which is a meme with a photo of Coco Martin and Vice Ganda crying.
The meme includes text that Coco supposedly says in Bisaya, which translates to: “Look, Vice, you fought Quiboloy, so you got shut down.”
Vice supposedly responded to the meme in the same Bisaya language, which translates to: “It was just a joke.”
Shuvee’s caption here is “I can hear vice” and a sad face emoji.
The “Quiboloy” referred to in the meme is the controversial founder of the organization Kingdom of Jesus Christ, The Name Above Every Name and known to be a close friend and spiritual adviser to former President Rodrigo Duterte.

Before the ABS-CBN shutdown, Vice Ganda and Quiboloy had a falling out, so some netizens created a meme that made it seem like Vice was the reason for the network’s shutdown, even though this was far from the truth.
Shuvee posted the said meme two days after the National Telecommunications Commission shut down ABS-CBN due to the network’s expired franchise.
In July 2020, ABS-CBN’s franchise renewal application was completely rejected by congressional voters under the administration of then-President Duterte.
It’s not clear what Shuvee’s motivation was for posting the meme about Coco and Vice back then.
