Serena Dalrymple announces she is expecting her second child

Former child star Serena Dalrymple is set to become a mom of two!

On Instagram, Serena revealed that she and her French-American husband, Thomas Bredillet, are expecting their second child.

On her Instagram page, Serena announced: “Halfway through my 30’s and halfway through baby girl # 2 ♥️.”

Fans online quickly flooded the comments section with congratulatory messages.

“Happy Birthday [Serena] and congrats,” one fan commented.

“Happy Birthday @sdalrymple! Safe and healthy delivery for your [baby girl] #2,” another fan wrote.

Back in April 2024, Serena announced that she and her husband welcomed their first child. The couple first shared the news of Serena’s pregnancy in November 2023, much to the delight of their celebrity friends and fans.

The couple tied the knot in 2022 after four years of dating, exchanging vows in the scenic Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Serena previously shared that she and Thomas first met on the dating app Bumble back in 2018.

“4 years ago today, I went out on a date to meet this French dude I matched on bumble. Who knew that I’ll end up marrying this handsome smart sweet (now) American dude this year,” she previously shared on social media.

Serena became a household name in the 1990s after her breakout fastfood chain commercial and went on to star in several ABS-CBN movies and series. Her last big-screen role was in 2010, playing the teen daughter of Ai Ai delas Alas in a sequel to Tanging Ina, before moving abroad to pursue graduate studies in the UK and eventually settling in the United States.

In a previous interview with PUSH ABS-CBN, Serena shared why she chose to leave the entertainment industry in the Philippines.

“Marami akong reasons for leaving showbiz and Philippines. One of the biggest reasons was during the time na wala ako masyadong projects, and I realized na I can’t rely on just my acting career I need a back-up plan, eventually my back-up plan became my priority. I chose studies over acting,” she stated.

Former actress Serena Dalrymple is expecting her first child with French-American husband Thomas Bredillet.

Serena announced her pregnancy via social media. “Adding a little more love to our tribe ❤️,” she wrote on her Instagram.

In her post, Serena shared photos of her baby bump. She also announced that she will be giving birth in March 2024.

Celebrity friends and followers of Serena were quick to reply to her post.

To which Serena replied: “@iamangelicap yes maymi! Kelangan niyo mag visit ni tita bean ❤️.”

“Waaaaaahhh!!! Congratulations, bebe!!!!” Nikki Valdez also wrote.

Serena got married in October 2022.

In September 2022, Serena shared the timeline of her relationship with Thomas as she announced that they were tying the knot.

Serena met Thomas via the dating app Bumble.

Serena is currently working in the US. According to her LinkedIn profile, she is presently a Staff Technical Program Manager at Intuit.

In 2014, she completed her master’s degree in international business at Hult International Business School in London.

Serena started as a child star in the Philippines and became part of various films including HilingBata, Bata… Pa’no Ka Ginawa?Wansapanataym: The Movie, and Ang Tanging Ina, among others.

She won various acting awards including Best Supporting Actress at the FAP Awards in 1999, New Movie Actress of the Year at the Star Awards for Movies in 1999, and Best Supporting Actress at the Gawad Urian in 1999, among others.
