At the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards, Kidman was nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama for her role as Romy in Babygirl, a steamy drama about a CEO caught in a risky affair with a younger intern. Though she didn’t take home the trophy this year, Kidman has a stellar Golden Globes record with six wins from eighteen nominations.

Keith Urban accompanied his wife to the star-studded event, where comedian Nikki Glaser—making history as the first solo female host—kicked off the show with a sharp, 10-minute monologue full of pop culture jokes. Nobody in the room was safe from her wit, including the power couple.

Glaser gave Kidman a cheeky shoutout for her role in Babygirl, calling it a performance she “gives two fingers up,” before turning to Urban:

“Thank you to Keith Urban for playing guitar around the house so much that she wants to leave and make 18 movies a year.”

The couple laughed along with the audience, showing they could take a joke with style and grace.

The playful roast set the tone for a night of entertainment, proving even Hollywood royalty isn’t immune to a little good-natured teasing.
