Actress/writer/director Bela Padilla is now happy and filled with love and hope after her breakup with Swiss-Italian Norman Bay.

Apart from that, Bela has also returned to Star Magic and ABS-CBN.

He signed a contract for his return to the Kapamilya network on August 25, 2025.

Something he considers a blessing amidst what he has gone through in terms of love life.

After 15 years, Bela Padilla returns to Star Magic and remains a proud Kapamilya as she renewed her network contract with ABS-CBN.

BELA open to love again after breakup

On August 6, Bela admitted the sad outcome of her more than five-year relationship with Norman.

“Yes, I am,” Bela admitted with a smile when asked by PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) if she was single.

But she clarified that her separation from her ex-boyfriend was an amicable and mutual decision, back in January of this year.

Two weeks after Bela admitted that she and Norman had broken up, she was asked about her heart condition during her contract signing with ABS-CBN.

The actress said with a smile: “It’s full. It is pumping and thriving.

“I mean, I feel like I’m full of love. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the same way we’re all thinking of––I’m sure we’re thinking the same thing.

“I don’t feel like I’m lacking right now. I have so much stuff I’m doing and more stuff I want to do.

“I think that’s also one of my reasons din, e. Parang I’ve known for months I was gonna sign for today’s contract signing, right?

“I’ve known for a while that I would enter this world again and come home fully.”

Right now, Bela is not letting herself be distracted from the sad ending of her relationship with Norman.

He said he wants to give his 100 percent effort to the projects given to him by Star Magic and ABS-CBN, after he decided to return to the Philippines.

It was during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic when Bela went to London to live there, with Norman.

Saad ni Bela: “I don’t want to commit to people here who take their jobs seriously and be here half-heartedly.

“When I do something, I have to do it 500 percent.

“Because they’re promising something to me, I want to promise something back too —and that’s my 100 percent attention.

“So that’s why I still feel I’m still full of love.”

Is Bela currently looking for a new lover?

He replied, “Not right now.”

He asked her pointedly, “But are you open?”

Sabi ni Bela, “Yeah, you know, that’s the beauty of life — to stay open.

“But let’s see, so far nothing. Maybe after the ones I’m shooting.”
