Trigger warning: Mention of abortion
Influencer Bea Borres admitted that she tried to abort the baby she was currently carrying.
This is because at the age of 22 she became pregnant unexpectedly.
In addition, she and her boyfriend broke up a few days before she discovered she was pregnant.
Although Bea did not reveal the name of her last relationship, the sales vice-president of iShip Logipack Inc., Meray Yamada, came forward.
Meray admitted that he is the father of the child Bea is carrying.
On August 12, 2025, Bea announced on her YouTube vlog that she was pregnant after taking several pregnancy tests.
In Bea’s interview on Toni Gonzaga’s YouTube vlog this Sunday, August 24, she shared about going to a clinic in Los Angeles, California, to have the baby removed from her womb.

But by God’s grace, Bea was given several signs to not proceed with the planned abortion.
He said: “I’m not the most religious person but I have a fear of God.
“But at that time, I was really questioning everything, ‘Why is that? My title is already orphaned. Will you give me a new title of single mom?’
“Well, it seems like it has a negative connotation for single moms, so I was really scared.
“It really got to the point where I was actually at the clinic [to take the baby out].
“I was going through the tests and everything. It took an hour, nandoon ako nakaupo.
“And then, after everything, suddenly a [nurse] came in, and she just said, ‘You can’t push through with this.’
“So, the first thing that came to my mind was, ‘You’re really different, you’re really showing off.’
“Well, there’s a reason, but I took it more as a sign.”

Bea’s second sign not to push through with abortion
After her abortion failed, Bea reportedly returned emotionally to New York City where she stayed for a few more days.
It was here that she received the second sign about her pregnancy.
It is said that while on the plane, Bea became emotional. It was here that the woman next to her spoke to her.
“I was crying sa plane because I was so lost.
“I know naman na if I push through with the pregnancy, kaya ko pa ring buhayin. My baby will grow full of love.
“It’s just that, you know, the thoughts of ‘What if?’ never really go away.
“So I was crying, next to me was a white lady, she was very liberal.”
“Then I think her maternal instincts kicked in. I had no intention of talking to her, then she talked to me.”

“She was, like, ‘What’s happening, are you okay?’
“Sabi ko, ‘I’m just really sad because I’m actually pregnant and here in America, women have a choice [to keep the baby or not]. But where I’m from, it’s not really talked about that much.’
“The first thing she said was, ‘Oh well, you know what they say: Babies are blessings from God.’”
BEA’S THIRD SIGN
For the third time, Bea was again shown a sign telling her not to abort the pregnancy.
It is said that this happened when someone approached his wife after seeing her sitting and resting on a bench in New York.
Bea looks back: “[I] was on my way back to the Philippines at that time, but I did some outlet shopping first, of course I got tired.
“I’m not kidding, as in I was just staring at the bench, at the chair, and then suddenly a girl who looked like she was from a Christian women’s organization approached me.”
“Sabi niya, ‘So if you are going through something and you need support, help and guidance from the Lord, we are here and you can contact us anytime.’ Binigyan pa niya ako ng brochure.

“I was, like, ‘Wow, I’m really stunned.’
“Actually, I was already scheduling my return [to the clinic] and suddenly someone like that approached me, and it was a woman. I said, ‘What’s that, you’re amazing.’”
It was here that Bea realized that God had a plan for her, so He would not allow her to continue with her plans.
She said: “I was so speechless, but at the same time I was telling my brain, ‘Oh, He won’t abandon me. My baby and I will be okay. I have nothing to fear and I should continue with it.’”
Bea’s Turning Point in Accepting Her PREGNANCY
Toni Gonzaga asked him a probing question: “When did the point come when you said to yourself, ‘Okay, you’ve talked to me three times, okay, I will listen to You, I will keep the baby.’”

At this point, Bea confessed that her close friend Andrea Brillantes was a big help in her acceptance.
He said: “This is where I really said that the timing was really perfect. Blythe [Andrea] she texted me, she’s also going through something.
“And then, I was crying, because I’m going through a breakup. Then she texted me, ‘Bea, I hope your baby is a girl, and her name is Hope.’
“Actually, that’s my baby’s name, Victorious Hope.”
“Because of that text, I felt like, ‘Oh, he already has a name, so I’ll keep it.’
“Then I really had hope that my life wasn’t going to end. And I became more accepting.”
“So ever since, even though I don’t know the gender yet, I’ve definitely named my baby Hope.”
Bea added that because of the baby in her womb, she now has the strength to fight and face the future with a positive outlook that she can do anything.

He said: “Hope, because I was at rock bottom. I feel and I know from what I told my public, I am full of hope now.
“I hope everything will be okay, that God will really give it to me because He has a reason, not just randomly.”
“Even though I don’t have a partner and I don’t have anyone to go with, I know that everything will be okay.”
