Ryan Agoncillo’s kiss on Yohan’s lips not approved by some netizens

Ogie Diaz and Mama Loi defended father and son Ryan Agoncillo and Yohan Agoncillo on their “Showbiz Update” YouTube channel regarding the issue they are currently involved in.

Many people reacted when Ryan and Yohan smacked each other after a car racing event.

Ogie said, “We often see this on TikTok and Facebook, which until now has been an issue of Ryan Agoncillo kissing his daughter Yohan on the lips (the video of the father and son kissing was shown). That’s what Mama Loi is talking about now.

“There are those who react and those who defend,” said Mama Loi.

Netizens’ comments were shown, with some praising the father and son because they are so sweet, but others asking why they had to kiss on the lips.

Ogie continued, “The issue here is why Ryan Agoncillo is still kissing his daughter on the lips when she is a young girl who shouldn’t be doing that. Some are saying that she is adopted and not his biological daughter. Why is there such a thing?”

For Ogie as the daddy of his five daughters, “As a biological dad, I don’t do that, I don’t do that to my daughter, so, should I do it because I’m biological?”

Mama Loi asked, “Do you kiss your children on the lips?”

“No, I hold them in my arms and then I anchor them like that (gesture) just like that but not to kiss their lips? When they were kids, I kissed them on the lips,” said Ogie.

He added, “But I myself felt that when they grow up, it’s a bit awkward, that’s just me, huh.”

Mama Loi sneered, “Oh, Mom, maybe they’ll misinterpret you as being against them (by smacking Ryan and Yohan).”

Ogie quickly replied, “No, no. That’s my thing, Mama Loi! I don’t know about other dads. Like Ryan, people have different opinions, divided (showing other netizens’ comments again).

“But more people are defensive. Because first of all, we’re not inside the house (of the Agoncillos) as that’s the dynamics they have as father and son if they really kiss on the lips,” said Ogie.

Mama Loi interjected, “What kind of culture and habits have they developed at home, right, Mom?”

Mama Loi read the other comments. A netizen said, “Many people will give malice on this first and of course, she (Yohan) is adopted, not real daughter of Ryan, second she already a grown up woman.”

“I don’t think it’s a good thing. Nothing malice about it, but everything has a limit. That’s why it’s inevitable that something develops in being a relative because of that, there should be a limit, it’s wrong,” commented another.

The “Showbiz Update” hosts mentioned that they read more defending Ryan and Yohan.

That’s why Ogie’s advice to netizens is, “Let’s not give it malice because maybe people aren’t used to seeing things like that, because even grown-up children still kiss their parents on the lips. Some people don’t find it sweet, others can’t do it because they’re not used to it, so they’re trying something new.”

It was also said that Judy Ann Santos was there and after Yohan kissed his daddy, he kissed his mommy and for sure his mommy would react if she saw malice in the father and son kissing.
