Ian de Leon reveals “bitter truth” why he did not show up at birthday party prepared by mom Nora Aunor …

For the first time, Ian de Leon spoke  about the event that his mother, Nora Aunor,  prepared   on Friday,  December 11 .

December 11 was Ian’s exact  45th birthday  .

Ian is Nora’s only biological child with her ex-husband  Christopher de Leon.

In Ian’s livestream this Sunday night,  December 13 , titled  “The Bitter Truth,”  Ian revealed his thoughts and reasons why he didn’t show up to his mother’s party.

At the beginning of his livestream, Ian said that he loves his mother very much.

“But it’s so painful. I can’t keep quiet anymore,” Ian continued.

Even though he is in showbiz, Ian and his family still choose to keep important events private, such as their gatherings on special occasions.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

Ian told the story of how his mommy Nora’s plan to prepare him for his birthday began.

Ian said, “My mom called, we were so happy because we hadn’t spoken in years.

“I’m so happy because we said I love you, we said I miss you, we talked.”

“He’s planning my birthday, he’ll prepare.”

“He’s going to prepare for my birthday, which hasn’t happened in years.”

“Maybe the last one happened, I was still young. But now he’s getting ready again which, of course, don’t get me wrong, I was truly happy.”

“I was overfilled with joy, the wind had changed. All my problems, everything my family was going through, disappeared when my mom said she would make plans and we would meet on my birthday. I was so happy.”

Nora even apologized to him for all her “shortcomings” and “sins,” and Ian responded by also apologizing.

According to Ian, everyone in the family goes through something, it just so happens that they are in showbiz that the public knows about it.

Ian added, “The sad part is, there’s just a slight deviation from people’s expectations, we’re already bad, my sister’s already bad, my family’s already bad, it’s already bad.”

The sister Ian is referring to is  Lotlot de Leon , his older adopted sister.

Ian also mentioned his adopted siblings  Matet ,  Kiko , and  Kenneth .

Ian continued, “I’m not competing, I’m not going live today to criticize or criticize.

“That’s why it’s titled ‘The Bitter Truth’ because I just want you to know what the truth is.

“My family and I would rather live in the truth, even if it’s painful and hard to swallow, than live with everything people see, happy, everybody happy. But deep inside, when I’m in my room, what’s happening is still going around in my head, what people are saying is still going around in my heart.”

“This time, it’s not about the people. We are not here, I am not doing this to please people. I’m not doing this to put down anyone.

“I’m doing this because I want to reveal a little truth about our family.”

Ian spoke to his mother on camera again.

Ian said, “Mommy, we love you so much, I love you so much.

“I wouldn’t trade the whole world for you, you know that. Everything we’ve endured, our whole lives, everything we’ve held dear, because we love you, eh.”

“I love you, I will give my whole life for you.”

After this, it became known what Ian said to his mother, which seemed to be a clue as to why he didn’t go to the party.

“I just don’t want other people around us, I just don’t want people to see us hugging each other, we’re so sweet when we’re in front of the camera. I don’t want that, Ma.”

“I want, when we meet, it to be just us.”

As reported by  PEP Troika  yesterday, December 12, in a story by writer  Rodel Fernando , Ian did not attend the birthday party because he was attacked by gout.

Nora reportedly got ready early and attended an interview before the 6 pm birthday party at a restaurant.

Two hours before the party, Ian texted that he couldn’t go because of his gout attack.

Ian’s brother, Kenneth, arrived with his wife, Sam.

With Ian not attending, it turned into an advanced holiday party with some fans and friends invited by Nora at the last minute.

THE BITTER TRUTH

 

At this point, Ian burst into tears as he told his “bitter truth.”

Ian was hurt after the phone call with his mother because the next day she asked him in a text: “Son, can I vlog what we talked about?”

Ian explained, “We had all the chances before to get-together. On my birthday, we had all the chances that I told you, ‘Mom, you’re going to have grandchildren. Mom, it’s his first birthday. Jordan’s baptism, Mom.’

“I want to say it now, I’m saying it because I can’t take it anymore. Maybe I’ll die if I don’t tell the truth because it’s too heavy.”

Ian also doesn’t care what the bashers say because he’s just telling the truth.

He continued, “The truth is, people’s lives are all covered up, they don’t reveal the truth because it’s painful to hear, hard to swallow.

“But on behalf of my siblings, most especially Matet, just for Ate, I hope so, the bashers, the haters who don’t understand, we don’t know you, eh. Whatever you’re saying to us.”

Ian once again brought up what hurt him during the phone call with Nora.

“It hurt, I was hurt, Ma, during that phone call. I just didn’t let you know, oh my gosh, that phone call, I thought that was it, eh. It’s what I’ve been waiting for for a long time, I’ve been looking forward to for a long time.”

“And this has to end, this hypocrisy has to end. We don’t like to live like this anymore. We don’t want to live a lie anymore.”

Ian also admitted that he just used his gout as an excuse to not go.

“My birthday, if it really happened, even if I have gout, I can use it on crutches.”

“The truth is, they texted, they messaged.”

“Mommy, I love you so much, Ma. I have so much respect for you.”

Ian also mentioned the write-up by Rodel Fernando, a showbiz writer close to Nora, and said, “Find out the whole truth before you write.”

THE TEXT MESSAGE

What is the truth that Ian is telling?

Ian reveals, “What happened was the night before we messaged… this is for those who know, for those who know, for those who understand, who truly love and understand.

“Mommy’s message was, I don’t want to miscarry, I’m not miscarrying. I just want to tell the truth.”

“’Son,’ he said, ‘A favor? Answer me honestly, answer me from your heart. I will understand whatever you say because I like it, your birthday is special.’

“’Then following that, he wanted to send someone.

“I replied, ‘Sorry, Ma, I don’t think we’ll be comfortable.’

“And only those who know, those who really know, you already know that.”

Ian did not mention the person he was referring to that Nora wanted to bring to her birthday party.

Even before Nora lived in America for five years and returned to the Philippines in 2011, John was her constant companion.

Ian also shared that in his previous livestreams, he has mentioned forgiveness.

If God is able to forgive, why doesn’t he forgive?

Continuing the chord, “So at this point, I want to forgive.

“To those who know, who I’m talking about, thank you for understanding. I don’t want showbiz anymore, I don’t want it anymore.”

“Mom, I know you’re watching, I’ll say it again, I love you so much. That will never change, Mom.”

Ian also begged his mother to give him the opportunity to be cared for by his own family.

Ian said, “Please, give your family a chance.

“How old are you, Mom? Give us the opportunity to take care of you, love you, and pamper you every day.

“Please, Ma, the people around you, get rid of that.

“It’s your family. I’m begging you as your son, as your son who loves you.”

Ian’s next birthday wish is for Nora to remove “Nora Aunor” from her personality so they can see the real Nora who is not in showbiz.

“My wish is not to have a fancy meal, not a cake, my wish is for you to be Nora Cabaltera Villamayor, not Nora Aunor.”

“I want your grandchildren to experience the love you can share. I want you to be with them while we still have strength.”

For Ian’s viewers, he clarified that he did not intend to “slander or defame,” but to provide “disclosure” to his family.

He explained, “Because our whole lives, we have been protecting our mom, even if she doesn’t know.

“We are here, oh. Ma, oh, we are ready to sacrifice our lives for you.

“We will help you do everything you need to do in life, just give us a chance.”

Ian said he appreciated the gesture made by his mother, but like he said earlier, “even if we meet, it’s just us.”

He added, “You were hurt, I hurt you because I didn’t show up, you were prepared.”

“Best effort, Ma, hands down. I appreciate from the bottom of my heart.”

Once again, Ian made it clear to viewers that he loves his mother very much, and he wished she had spoken about her truth sooner.

“If I could just take everything back, I wish I hadn’t given in to fear, I wish I hadn’t given in to intrigue.”

“I hope I don’t just sit on the sidelines and watch what’s happening in front of my eyes, for years to come.”

IAN’S CHRISTMAS WISH

Ian’s wish this Christmas is to be able to talk to his mother.

“This Christmas, my only request, Mom, is that we talk deeply.

“Just us, please, even over the phone, just have a heart-to-heart talk.”

“No cameras, nothing. Just us, intimate.”

“That was your promise before my birthday, Ma. You told me, ‘Promise, son, let’s just be together.’”

Ian didn’t want to express his thoughts just for the vlog, but he did it anyway.

Dahilan ni Ian, “Everyone has to know the truth. Everyone has to understand, everyone has the right to know.”

Ian also admitted that he made a mistake, but said he hopes that their family problems will not be turned into a carnival, even though they are in showbiz.

Before his livestream ended, Ian had another message for his mother.

“I love you, Ma, and take care always, Ma. I’ll be talking to you, just tell me over the phone.

“I hope… we can just talk, Mom, soon.

“I wish to see you, I miss you. I love you so much and I’m sorry if I couldn’t make it to the celebration you prepared for me. I really do appreciate that.”

Ian even cried when he saw the birthday cake with the words: “Happy Birthday, Ian! From Mommy.”

Ian continued, “So sweet. But no, I couldn’t handle it.

“Because on top of it all, it’s because of my illness. I’ve already said it. I don’t want to repeat it.”

In the end, Ian said, “I don’t know where this is going but this is the truth.”
