Actor Dennis Padilla revealed that Gretchen and Claudine Barretto were not invited to attend the wedding of their niece Claudia Barretto.
During his interview with Ogie Diaz, Dennis said Claudine pleaded with sister Marjorie Barretto (mom of Claudia) to allow her to attend just to drop off her gift for Claudia.
She called me last night. She also begged. She had Viber messages to Marjorie, she was pleading, ‘Maybe I can attend, I’ll just give my gift to Claudia.’ Dennis started.
Third message, deleted and then she blinked. So her messages didn’t come through, so she cried a lot that night.
“I said, ‘Claudine, even though you’re not invited, come. Don’t be afraid, I’ll sit beside you.’ You know how spoiled Claui and her are with her, like her son.” Dennis said.
“I said, ‘Go even though you weren’t invited.’ I was so brave, it was a good thing I didn’t go. I was so arrogant, because, of course, I said, I’m the father of the bride, ‘Go, I’ll take care of you.’ It was a good thing he didn’t go.” added Dennis.
