Star Cinema drops first teaser for Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino film ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’

It is scheduled to be released early next year.

During the 2024 Christmas special event, ABS-CBN unveiled their offerings for the forthcoming year, which includes Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino’s first big screen team-up in ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear.’

As a bonus treat, the network’s movie outfit Star Cinema gave fans and viewers the first glimpse at the project with a 90-second teaser-trailer featuring the two stars.

Kim was seen enjoying her fix of Korean drama when it suddenly began raining. Out of nowhere, Paulo appeared and bumped into her, and after a split-second ‘kilig’ interaction between them, the guy left the girl behind.

During which, the film’s official soundtrack was also revealed and it is none other than the hit song ‘Dilaw’ by OPM singer Maki.

Since its upload on Tuesday night, the teaser has been viewed more than 1 million times across social media platforms.

‘My Love Will Make You Disappear’ marks the reunion of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, also known as KimPau, who starred for the first time in the top-rated series ‘Linlang’ back in 2023.

They went on to do the successful Filipino adaptation of ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?’ began streaming in March 2024.

‘MLWMYD’ is under the direction of Chad Vidanes and will be Star Cinema’s Valentine’s Day movie for next year, as it is set to hit theaters on February 12, 2025.
