Kim, never thought the explosive love scenes between Paulo and JM would be possible

We watched the first two episodes of the new Kapamilya series Linlang at the screening/mediacon held last Monday, Oct. 2, and we’d say that these are probably the most daring scenes of Kim Chiu that we’ve seen in her entire career.

In the said episodes alone, Kim’s love scenes with her two leading men, Paulo Avelino and JM de Guzman, were explosive.

They have intense bed scenes with Paulo that we never thought Kim would be able to do.

Even the actress admitted that she didn’t think she could do those scenes. “It’s like this is a role that I never imagined I would do in my entire acting career,” said Kim.

“But here we are, we’ve done it. So, I’m just following what the director says because I really have a lot of trust in our directors (FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin) here at Linlang,” he added.

Kim admitted that she was really nervous about doing her steamy scenes with Paulo but she also wanted to grow as an actress.

“I said, ‘Director (FMR), I want to grow, but how? I’m scared, I’m nervous.’ Then he said, ‘just trust me, I’ll take care of you,’” Kim laughed.

When they filmed the hot scenes with Paulo, it was only their second day of taping and it was also her first time working with the actor.

“Well, of course, he (Paulo) is a very quiet person. On the first day, I was like, ‘how can I talk to him?’ Then, he doesn’t laugh at me. How is this?”

“Then, on the 2nd day, I was still nervous. But it was like, okay, he’s A-game, so I’m A-game too,” Kim said.

He is grateful to Paulo for the support he has given him.

“I’m grateful to him because he makes things that make me nervous easier. Every time I step on our set, I’m really nervous, because it’s not really my forte and it’s not really my comfort zone, so I’m not confident if I can do it well and deliver it.”

“But because of our director, director FMR, director Jojo (Saguin), and because of my co-actors who are so talented, they are able to lift me up and help me and that’s what I’m grateful for in this series,” said Kim.

Direk FM praised Kim because she said the actress is really serious about her craft because she even has notes where she writes down all her movements in the story. 

“And I’m so amazed. Superstar as she is, she’s that dedicated to her work,” praised Direk FM.

Linlang is a mystery-thriller drama series under Dreamscape Entertainment and will be aired worldwide on Prime Video on Oct. 5. The series also stars the one and only Diamond Star, Maricel Soriano.

Maja and Kim prove they have no fight

A photo of Maja Salvador and Kim Chiu happily hugging each other when they met at the ABS-CBN Ball 2023 is now going viral on social media.

This proves that there is no ill will between the two over the issue of Maja not inviting Kim to her wedding with Rambo Nuñez in Bali.

Even their respective fans were happy to see that all was well between the friends.

“Maturity, moving on, both are blessed in their career, love life, life is too short to dwell on their past issue,” komento ng isang netizen.

“We’re at a point where friendships have fallen apart, but people like them, who are cheerful, kind, and seem to have no bitterness in life, it’s possible that what they’re showing is genuine and that they’re at peace,” said a fan.

“If you’re both happy with your own lives, moving on from the hurt of the past is not hard to do,” komento naman ng isa pang social media user.
