Coney Reyes on her past fight with Dina Bonnevie: “Let’s not bring up the past!”
Coney Reyes’ answer was short but sweet when asked for her reaction by the press, including pikapika.ph , about Dina Bonnevie’s kind words during the Anak ni Waray Vs. Anak ni Biday press conference regarding their past fight in the 1980s.
It is worth remembering that Dina highly praised Coney, specifically how she raised her son, Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto , and how Coney deepened her own faith in God.
“Well, that’s nice,” Coney replied in a pocket press interview for her new Kapuso teleserye Love of My Life . “ Let’s not bring up the past that was almost 30 years ago. People are quiet, they are quiet about their wives so let’s leave it be.”
Coney added that he wasn’t the only one who helped Dina get closer to her faith in God.
“Thank you very much , but usually, it’s not just one person who helps us. There are many ,” said the veteran actress. “ But thank you very much [to her ]. I wish her well. She’s always been nice to Vico, so no problem. ”
When asked by the press how they managed to maintain their friendship after the fight, Coney chose to repeat her initial statement about not bringing up the past.
“Like I said, let’s not bring up the past. That’s enough, ” he said. “Aren’t you happy for all of us? I’m very happy for them, I’m very happy for her, I’m very happy for everybody being happy. Let’s just be quiet. ”
