Viva talent Bea Alonzo is now a full-fledged Kapamilya because she recently signed a contract with ABS-CBN.
Bea didn’t hide that she was happy now that she was a Kapamilya.
“Yes, I’m very, very happy. I mean, I’ve been on Viva for a while now,” said the young actress in an interview with Kris Aquino and Toni Gonzaga on The Buzz yesterday, August 31.
Bea, Vhong, and Ejay stay with ABS-CBN
Bea and her loveteam John Lloyd Cruz became famous because their launching movie “One More Chance” became a hit.
Because of this, their film collaboration followed, further strengthening their box-office appeal.
Bea said she is not sure if Star Cinema really plans to co-produce their next film, which is produced by Viva Films, and then have John Lloyd sign them to ABS-CBN.
“That I’m not sure, because we were just surprised that the next movie… was co-produced by Star Cinema,” he said.
“We were just told, ‘Okay, you have another movie right after One More Chance.’”
Her love teammate John Lloyd is currently in Albay yesterday.
Kris asked Bea if they text each other “good morning.”
“No, because we see each other all the time,” the young actress replied with a smile.
Do they become closer when they see each other more often?
“I’m embarrassed… because there are… our fans there,” Bea pointed out.
But John Lloyd said you were his ideal girl?
“Okay,” Bea replied with a smile.
Is Bea’s mother really strict?
He replied, “Right now, me and John Lloyd, we both value our career, this opportunity. It seems like we too, we still don’t want it.”
Toni teased him that he was the same way before, especially when he first moved to ABS-CBN, when he used to say, “I value my career.” And almost all new loveteams say that.
Bea said, “Okay, okay, just to be different, I’m the type of person who doesn’t want to expect really. I don’t want to be the first.”
BLANKET AND PILLOW. Kris also revealed that Bea gave John Lloyd a pillow and blanket because he didn’t have any during the shooting. But John Lloyd said he hasn’t even given Bea a single cup of coffee.
Kris laughed and said: “My God, I heard he lives in a social village in Makati. So, he can afford coffee.” Why did she give John Lloyd a blanket and pillow?
Bea replied, “No, because his chair, his folding chair, is very uncomfortable.”
Bea has yet to directly answer what the first series she and John Lloyd will do on the Kapamilya network will be.
“Because, we haven’t been told yet.”
Besides John Lloyd, which other Kapamilya male stars did she flirt with?
“Joseph Marco… oh, that’s not possible!” Bea suddenly retorted.
That’s why Bea said it wasn’t possible because Joseph had already asked Toni for permission to have his sister Alex Gonzaga as his date at the Star Magic Ball.
