Kris Aquino’s Emotional Birthday Message: “This Might Be My Last”
A heart-wrenching moment unfolded as Kris Aquino opened up about her fragile health and shared a touching message for her children, Bimby and Josh, on her 53rd birthday, February 14, 2024.
In an exclusive interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Kris admitted the possibility that this could be her last birthday due to her deteriorating condition.
“Yes, because of Churg-Strauss syndrome, I now have cardiomyopathy. This means my heart muscles are struggling to pump blood due to inflammation. This exhaustion is leading to heart failure,” Kris revealed with a heavy heart.
Despite her struggles, Kris expressed profound gratitude toward her children. “If this is my last birthday, I just want to thank my sons, Josh and Bimby, for choosing me to be their mom,” she said. She also thanked her siblings for their unwavering love and support.
Kris admitted that although she has long been asking for prayers, she is still humbly appealing for more. “I know it’s a lot to ask, but I’m not ready to leave my children yet. They need me,” she confessed tearfully.
She also shared how difficult everyday tasks have become, recounting moments when even simple movements, such as going to the bathroom, cause her heart to beat erratically.
Kris remains steadfast in her fight despite the overwhelming challenges and has asked for continued prayers from her supporters. She believes in the power of collective faith, saying, “God listens when so many people pray.”
Her vulnerability and strength in facing her health battles remind everyone of the importance of family, faith, and love, no matter how uncertain life may seem.
