Jak Roberto Is Insecure About Barbie Forteza

Showbiz insider Ogie Diaz’s co-host Tita Jegs has made statements regarding the rumors that are allegedly the reason behind the breakup of Jak Roberto and Barbie Forteza, the famous Kapuso couple. In the latest episode of their showbiz-oriented vlog “Showbiz Updates” which aired on January 5, Tita Jegs commented on a rumor she heard about the two’s relationship.

According to Tita Jegs, the reason for their separation was Jak’s insecurity towards Barbie, which she said was related to Barbie’s continued growth in popularity in the industry.

“I just heard about it. This is one of the reasons, the reason. Jak Roberto felt his insecurity…that Barbie [Forteza] was more famous than him,”  said Tita Jegs.

However, Ogie Diaz immediately denied the rumor. According to him, he does not believe that this was the reason for their breakup, because the two have long stated that they are always supportive of each other and that they have no issues regarding each other’s careers.

“I don’t think so. [They] said before that they were supportive of each other. […] Then it seems like they’re already planning their future,”  said Ogie.

Ogie added that despite the intrigues and speculations of netizens, the breakup between Jak and Barbie was amicable. 

“It’s okay for them to break up. It’s just the netizens, they’re so mean. They’ll definitely look for a reason,”  said Ogie.

He stated that netizens often look for a reason to give opinions or speculation, even if it is not the actual reason for the breakup.

Recently, fans of the Kapuso stars were shocked when Barbie announced on her social media that she and Jak had decided to separate after seven years of marriage. The actress’ announcement surprised many, and it became one of the hottest topics on social media at the start of 2025.

Currently, as of this writing, Jak Roberto has not made any statement regarding his breakup with Barbie. The actor continues to keep his mouth shut, and it is still unclear what the real reason for their separation was. Despite this, fans of the two are still unmoved, and they continue to watch for any statement from their idols.
