Julia Montes, accident on the set of ‘Topakk’
Kapamilya actress Julia Montes shared the accident she was involved in on the set of the movie “Topakk,” one of the entries in the upcoming 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival.
In a recent ABS-CBN News report, Julia said that she sprained her knee while shooting the confrontation scene.
“In that scene, the characters are having a confrontation. That was Arjo and I’s first meeting, so things were pretty intense,” Julia said.
“Well, I was embarrassed to cut [that scene] to say ‘wait a minute, I got nailed.’ So I did it because the scene was intense, I didn’t have the camera with me, so I pulled the nail out,” he said.

So after the incident, Julia got an anti-tetanus shot. She also reportedly received a reminder from her partner Coco Martin regarding the careful execution of action scenes.
But despite this, Coco didn’t stop Julia from continuing with the film.
He said, “Because he was also the first one to teach me how to not move, how to be safe.”
“He [Coco] is proud, that won’t go away. We used the safety tips,” he added.
According to the report, the story of “Topakk” centers on a guard with post-traumatic stress disorder or PTSD whose emotions are triggered while protecting an accused drug mule.
