Joshua Garcia names Kathryn Bernardo as his first celebrity crush

Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia has admitted without hesitation   who his first celebrity crush was.

This is none other than actress  Kathryn Bernardo .

Joshua’s confession came when he appeared on  Fan Questions with Cosmo  on October 26, 2023.

Ask him, “Who is your first celebrity crush?”

Joshua thought for a moment and then answered, “Kathryn.”

He explained that he wasn’t an actor when he watched Kathryn and Daniel Padilla ‘s movie   in the theater.

He also said that it was his first time acting in a movie at that time, so his attention was immediately drawn to Kathryn’s acting skills.

Joshua said, “I had a crush on him because he was my first movie experience, I still remember it, at SM Batangas.

“My first experience at the movies was when I watched Daniel and his show  Must Be Love .

“Since then, I’ve had a crush on him.”

Must  Be Love  aired in 2013 before Joshua became a housemate on  Pinoy Big Brother (PBB)  in 2014.

Behind Joshua’s confession, he and Kathryn remain friends.

Joshua is part of the Nguya Squad, a gang that includes Daniel, Kathryn, Ria Atayde, Zanjoe Marudo, Alora Sasam, Khalil Ramos, Gabbi Garcia, Joe Vargas, Bianca Yanga, Pat Sugui, Aeriel Garcia, Josef Elizalde, and Dominic Roque.

In Fan Questions with Cosmo, Joshua was also asked for his reaction about being called his “Crush ng Bayan.”

Filipino-American singer  Bella Poarch , YouTube vlogger-actress  Ivana Alawi , and TikTok sensation-actress  Queenay Mercado are just some of the well-known personalities who have come out in saying they admire Joshua.

Joshua said that to this day he still can’t believe it.

He said, “Really? It’s flattering.”

“But of course, it’s the people who said it, so why not?

“I’ll just eat it.”

JOSHUA’s RUMORED GIRLFRIEND

Filipino-French golfer  Emilienne Vigier  is Joshua’s suspected girlfriend.

As early as June 2023, the relationship between Joshua and Emilienne was already a topic of discussion on social media.

Netizens identified that the two were together on vacation in Palawan.

This was followed by Joshua’s soft launch of him cooking food for Emilienne, based on the actor’s IG post on July 24.

Emilienne has also posted several times about her bonding with Joshua, such as when they went to the gym together and another occasion where Emilienne expressed her love for the actor.

In a PEP Troika report on September 23, Joshua said regarding Emilienne, “I don’t deny her.”

He said he just doesn’t want to brag about their relationship because “that relationship is just us being a part of it, okay?”

He said it only causes “confusion” when he makes it public.

On November 6, the two were spotted together again when Emilienne posted via Instagram Story, showing a photo of her and Joshua at Coldplay’s full-house concert held at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.

Yesterday, November 16, both Joshua and Emilienne’s Instagram Story and post showed them vacationing together in Rome, Italy.
