Gabby Eigenmann still keeps in touch with Andi and her family.

Andi Eigenmann has returned home to Siargao to fully mourn and move on from the sudden passing of her mother, Jaclyn Jose.

Jaclyn passed away due to a heart attack on March 2, 2024. She was 60.

On March 10, his cremated remains were delivered to The Garden of the Divine Word Columbary on E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City.

Due to the passing of the veteran actress, Andi, who had been based in Siargao for a long time since Philmar Alipayo became her partner, left Manila.

According to Andi’s older half-sister Gabby Eigenmann, after Jaclyn’s ashes were delivered to their final destination, Andi flew to Siargao with her children and sister Gwen Guck.

The actress is also said to be carrying some parts of Jaclyn’s cremated remains so she can have memories while they are in Siargao.

Gabby said, “Last time, they had small ones [containers]. I think Andi has brought some to Siargao, then Gwen has one too.

“But of course, the entire urn is already in the columbarium.”

“But that’s right, they have small [containers]. I think my sister, Gwen, and then Andi also got some.”

Jaclyn’s sister that Gabby is referring to is former actress Veronica Jones.

Gabby continued, “I don’t know if Ellie has also… ah Ellie has a necklace, it’s on her pendant.

“That, of course, just to remember her, it seems like she’s always with them wherever they go.”

“But that’s it, I know the small [container] Andi brought.”

Gabby spoke with PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other entertainment press at the media conference of  My Guardian Alien , the new series starring Marian Rivera and Gabby Concepcion, held at the Luxent Hotel, Quezon City, on March 21, 2024.

Even though they are far apart again, Gabby continues to ask about the situation of Andi and her family in Siargao.

The Kapuso actor assured, “I always check on them. Because I’m also in the middle of a fight.

“Kasi si Andi, first time in a long time… she stayed with me kasi in the first few days during the wake.

“He lived with us. Then Philmar came with their two kids… they were embarrassed, they were embarrassed to stay longer.”

“I said, ‘No, no, no! The house is open for you, we’re family.’

“But of course, they want to do things on their own, so they leave.

“Then eventually they checked in to the hotel and just fixed what needed to be fixed, then they returned to Siargao.”

Gabby also said she is sure that Andi is doing well now because aside from her partner Philmar and children Ellie, Lilo, and Koa, she is also with her sister Gwen in Siargao.

Gwen reportedly decided to stay in the Philippines for a short time to be with Andi and her nieces.

Gabby said, “I know they are happy now.

“Now actually, Gwen is bonding, because Gwen is in Siargao.

“I think, Gwen, he’ll stay there until the 24th [of March]. Then he’ll come back to Manila and then he’ll go home to America.

“They’re okay. I’m sure they’re having the time of their lives, being together, because it’s been a long time since they last saw each other.”

“Though, they are talking, they are talking on the phone, they are Facetimeing, now they are together in Siargao. So, I am happy.”

“I also know that they are happy together now.”
