I couldn’t help but get teary-eyed upon hearing the news from my blogger-friend Albert of Chikkaness Avenue.♥ Mother’s Day came in early for former actress Jackie Forster. In a lengthy Instagram caption, Jackie shared the great news that she and her sons Andre and Kobe Paras have finally reunited after years of waiting. Andre and Kobe, both making names in the fields of entertainment and basketball, are Jackie’s children with ex-husband PBA legend and actor Benjie Paras.

Both Jackie and Benjie have remarried and are now raising their own families. For a few years, the custody issue and appeals by Jackie to see her children were highly publicized. With constant references to the emotional pain brought about by the separation, the young Paras boys expressed not being ready to be on speaking terms with their biological mom. Until today’s nice surprise, many didn’t see the mother-and-sons reunion happening this soon.

Well, they are now proof that time heals all wounds.♥

In her caption, Jackie shares:

“When you have little pieces of you walking around on earth, all you can do that makes the biggest difference is to pray for them. When your heart beats in tune with your prayer their Homing Device will activate, eventually they come home. 
This is all that matters now, that we are together again ❤ no matter what anyone says @_kokoparas will always be mamas hero ? Thank you to kuya @andreparasfor taking good care of him while mama was away. 
God is sooooo good!

I ask for everyone to please respect their privacy now, we have shared so much of our personal lives with everyone and we want to take this time to heal and bond. No more bashing please. We lift you all up in prayers and speak blessing upon you all.
The boys and I do not want to dwell on the past. We will not speak on behalf of people outside of our relationship. That’s not our place. On behalf of my two sons I want to thank those of you who prayed for us and with us!

In a 2015 post, Jackie sent out this message:

jackie_forster One day the broken pieces of my heart will be mended and forever restored ♡
For now I pray for my 2 sons and watch them from afar.
I hope and pray they know how much i love them and that will never change.
I always pray for Him to send my sons our good memories together so they can find the urge and strength to come back to me.
I really pray it is sooner than later, so much time has been wasted and i continuously pray for their happiness and health.
My life has been very blessed and I hope one day soon I can share it with them too ♡
