Kim, didn’t think the explosive love scenes between Paulo and JM could be done

We watched the first two episodes of the new Kapamilya series Linlang at the screening/mediacon held this Monday, Oct. 2, and we’d say that this is probably Kim Chiu’s most daring scenes that we’ve seen in her entire career.

Just in the said episodes, Kim’s love scenes with her two leading men, Paulo Avelino and JM de Guzman, were immediately explosive.

They have intense bed scenes with Paulo that we didn’t think Kim and I could do.

Even the actress admitted that she didn’t think she could do such scenes. “It’s like this is the role that I couldn’t imagine doing in my whole acting career,” said Kim.

“But here we are, we’ve done it. So, I just follow what the director says because I have a lot of trust in our directors (FM Reyes and Jojo Saguin) here in Linlang,” he added.

Kim admitted that she was really nervous to do her steamy scenes with Paulo but she also wants to grow as an actress.

“I said, ‘Director (FMR), I want to grow, but how? I’m scared, I’m nervous.’ Then he said, ‘just trust me, I’ll take care of you,'” Kim laughed.

When they did the hot scene with Paulo, it was only the 2nd day of taping and it was his first time to work with the actor.

“Well, of course, he (Paulo) is a very quiet person. It’s only the first day, ‘how can I talk to him?’ Then, he didn’t laugh at me. how ’bout it?’

“Then, on the 2nd day, I’m still nervous. But it’s like okay, he’s A-game, so I’m A-game too,” Kim said.

He thanked Paulo for the support given to him.

“I am grateful to him because he makes the things that make me nervous easier. Every time I step on our set, I’m really nervous, because it’s not really my forte and I’m not really in my comfort zone, so I’m not confident if I can do it well and deliver it.

“But because of our director, director FMR, director Jojo (Saguin), and because of my co-actors who are very good, they lift me up and help me and that’s what I’m thankful for in this series,” said Kim.

FM director praises Kim because the actress is really serious about her craft because she even has notes where she writes all her movements in the story. 

“And I’m so amazed. Superstar as she is, she is that dedicated to her work,” praises director FM.

Linlang is a mystery-thriller drama series under Dreamscape Entertainment and will be seen worldwide on Prime Video on Oct. 5. The series also includes the one and only Diamond Star, Maricel Soriano.

Maja and Kim, confirmed that there is no fight

The photo of Maja Salvador and Kim Chiu happily hugging when they met at the ABS-CBN Ball 2023 is now viral on social media.

This is proof that the two have no grudge over the issue of Maja not inviting Kim to her wedding with Rambo Nuñez in Bali.

Even their respective fans were happy to see all’s well between the friends.

“Maturity, moving on, both are blessed in their career, love life, life is too short to dwell on their past issue,” komento ng isang netizen.
