Kris Aquino in Isolation due to Worsening Health Condition: “Yes, it’s lonely”

Actress Kris Aquino Gives Update on Health Condition

KRIS AQUINO – The Queen of All Media who is currently battling six (6) autoimmune diseases and has lost her immunity is now in isolation.

In September, Kris returned to the Philippines after around two (2) years of stay in the United States for her treatment. It is no secret to the public that she is battling multiple autoimmune diseases and her being allergic to several medications doubles the challenge to her doctors and nurses.

In 2022, Kris flew to the United States for her treatment. Her youngest son, Bimby, is the one who stayed in abroad to accompany her during the medication. Her eldest son, Josh, has also visited and stayed with his mother abroad. She is always vocal that her sons are her biggest inspirations to fight her health battle.

Kris Aquino is battling Autoimmune Thyroiditis, Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, Churg Strauss/EGPA, Systemic Sclerosis. SLE/Lupus, and Rheumatoid Arthritis which gives her deep pain. According to the former actress, she went home as she needed the support of her family and loved ones as she needs to start her second immunosuppressant infusions.

Previously, Kris revealed that she has a colon cancer scare. Fortunately, the results of her tests cleared her from cancer. It is no secret to the public that her late mother, former President Cory Aquino, died of colon cancer.

However, recently, Kris Aquino was honest on her update that her health condition is not doing well and she is currently in isolation. According to the former actress, her White Blood Cells (WBC) dropped and she also had “a bad allergic reaction to the last antibiotic” that she can tolerate.

“Wala na kong panlaban sa kahit anong viral or bacterial infection. I’m now in isolation. So many rules for family & friends na gusto akong dalawin. Yes, it’s lonely,” the actress said.

According to Kris, no matter how brave she is, when everything such as her explainable allergies, lupus which causes rashes and fever, and her rheumatoid arthritis that causes her body pains are happening all at once, she gets to ask herself if she can still handle it.

Meanwhile, based on the post, Kris Aquino refuses to give up as she does not want to disappoint all those who are praying for her. She stressed that she does not want those people to think that she does not value their time and effort.
