49ers star George Kittle’s startled reaction to Brock Purdy touchdown dance goes viral: ‘Mind was blown’

Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon, with Purdy putting in an impressive performance and throwing two touchdowns.

He also recorded a two-yard touchdown of his own in the third quarter and, after, broke out the ‘Dougie,’ a throwback dance move that first hit pop culture in 2010.

The impromptu celebration stunned tight end George Kittle, whose helmet-slapping, wide-eyed reaction quickly became the internet’s favorite moment of the game.

The tight end’s reaction was equally as hilarious as Purdy’s celebration dance and quickly caught attention on social media.

Taking to X, one user posted a video of the incident and wrote: ‘George Kittle’s mind was blown when Brock Purdy did the Dougie’.

Meanwhile, a number of fans took a moment to praise the dance moves on show.

‘Ohhh…Mr. Purdy is getting Swaggy,’ one user wrote on X.

Another said: ‘Didn’t think he had it in him’.

‘Like, dude you can DANCE?!,’ another wrote on social media.

Kittle addressed the moment in his post-game interview and said: ‘He was just really good at it. I was just more surprised. God forbid a white guy has a little bit of motion.’

Elsewhere on the night, one star called out an opponent post-game and said: ‘I’m surprised nobody punched him in the jaw yet’.

Browns star Shelby Harris was left incensed over one incident during the third quarter, when teammate Maliek Collins was carted off the field with an injury.

As he exited the field, 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings took the opportunity to dish out some trash talk to his injured rival – which didn’t sit well with Harris.

Fans rushed to social media to praise both the celebration and Kittle’s hilarious reaction

Speaking to reporters afterwards, Kittle said: ‘God forbid a white guy has a little bit of motion’

When speaking to reporters afterwards, Harris called out Jennings and made reference to an incident last Monday where the 49ers star was punched by a rival.

‘He’s a h** and I want that known,’ Harris told reporters in the locker room.

‘Like I see why he got punched in the nuts, because he said some things that you should not say to another man, ever.

‘But, like, I don’t respect it because you say that then run behind your O-line. That’s some real soft s*** and I want that known. I see exactly why they punched him in the nuts, I’m surprised nobody punched him in the jaw yet.’

Lions Cut CB Star After Controversial “I Think the Season Is Over” Post Sparks Backlash

Detroit, MI · November 30, 2025
The Detroit Lions have made a sudden roster move just days after their disappointing 31–24 Thanksgiving loss to the Green Bay Packers. The shift comes amid internal concerns about maintaining locker room belief heading into the final stretch of the season.

The decision follows a viral social media post that quickly sparked backlash among fans and raised questions inside the organization. The message — “I think the season is over.” — surfaced late Thursday and circulated widely across X.

Tre Flowers was identified as the player behind the statement, making him the focus of immediate attention. After spending most of the year on Detroit’s practice squad and appearing in two games as an elevation, he was officially released Sunday morning. According to league sources, the Lions were already planning practice squad adjustments, but the timing of the post pushed the move forward.

To reinforce depth and stabilize the roster, Detroit simultaneously signed tight end Giovanni Ricci và running back Jabari Small to the practice squad — two additions meant to support a team dealing with multiple injuries at key positions, especially after the recent loss of Sam LaPorta for the remainder of the season.

Inside the building, coaches emphasized that the Lions remain fully committed to competing in the NFC playoff race with an 8–4 record. Dan Campbell reportedly addressed the team directly, stressing unity, resilience, and blocking out negativity as they prepare for Week 13.

The Lions continue to evaluate internal options to strengthen their secondary and maintain momentum despite the off-field distraction. While Flowers’ tenure ends abruptly, many around the league expect he will draw interest from teams seeking late-season defensive depth.

Detroit now shifts its focus back to football, looking to reset after a turbulent few days and keep themselves firmly in the postseason hunt.
