Alden Richards says Kathryn Bernardo teaches him ‘how to take life not too seriously’

Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo are open to talking to each other about personal matters aside from just work.

According to Aubrey Carampel’s report on “24 Oras,” Friday, business and adulting were some of the things they talked about during their shooting days for “Hello, Love, Again” in Canada.

“Seryoso ‘pag si Tisoy (Alden) kausap. Hirap,” Kathryn said.

“She’s going through adulthood na rin at the same time. Big girl na ‘yan! ‘Yun lang parang she always asks me how is it like, you know, sa business side,” Alden said.

In turn, the Sparkle star has learned from her to take it easy.

“Nakakatuwa din na I get a lot of notes also kay Kath na how to take life not too seriously,” he said.

“Chill, Tisoy. Can you chill?” Kathryn teased.

“Just keep swimming,” he said.

Alden is also grateful for Kathryn’s continuous trust in him.

“I think hindi ko magagawa ‘tong project na ‘to without you, so I’m very grateful. And maraming salamat sa paghawak sa kamay ko in this project,” he told her during “Hello, Love, Again’s” grand media day on Thursday.

At the event, Alden and Kathryn also shared their thoughts on second chances, making mistakes, and forgiveness.

“Hello, Love, Again,” directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, is the sequel to KathDen’s 2019 blockbuster hit “Hello, Love, Goodbye.” It continues the story five years after Joy left Hong Kong for Canada.

It will be in cinemas on November 13. Tickets are now on sale.

The Filipino movie will also be released in North America, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.
